Does it make sense to have to PAY to work? Not in my world, it doesn’t. Nevertheless, some people have experienced this phenomenon in the online world. Don’t let that be you. You may have heard that it takes money to make money, but that has to do with starting a business – not earning a wage. Wage-earners get paid to work – no way around that.
What I am saying, is that you should never bite on those online job offers that promise you huge earnings – you just have to pay a small and insignificant sign-up fee first – or something like that. Often, the work turns out to be tedious and very poor in earning potential, which means that many will never make enough to cover the sign-up fee. They will simply quit out of frustration, and lose the money.
Does this qualify as a scam – or just a very cynical business tactic? I can’t judge on that. Instead, I will point your attention to online jobs without investment. What are those, then? Why, they are ordinary jobs, of course! It works like this: You apply for the job, someone reviews your application, and you either hired or not. You do the work and get paid. Simple!
For those old enough to have had one or several jobs, all the above is no surprise, but if you are young – in your teens perhaps – and you have turned to the internet as the first place to find work, then you could certainly be forgiven for jumping on some of the more dubious offers. Online jobs without investment are the tried and true way of working online. They might not make you rich overnight, but they won’t take any of your money either. If a job can’t deliver that, walk away to the next one.
